Here is a list of our Summer 2022 STEM Camps
- In partnership with the Abbotsford International Airshow, and UFV.
Pre-requisites: Students will require basic computer skills with a mouse and keyboard, starting programs, and how to save and open files in a folder.
Registration is now OPEN! Spots are limited.
1. Introduction to Aerospace Design: - Physics of Flight / Jr. Flight School
Description: In this introductory full-day hands-on STEM camp, students will learn all about the exciting science behind how airplanes fly. In addition to learning about the physics of flight, students will also create a number of paper airplanes and foamboard gliders to help demonstrate the science concepts. Participants will learn how to design digital files for the 3D printer and laser cutter. The camp is full of unique extras that will make for a wonderful STEM learning opportunity. Lunch is not provided - students must bring their own nut-free lunch and snacks.

2. Jr. Makerspace Program. Introduction to Coding for Robotics (Step 1 and Step 2)
Description: In this introductory course, students will learn about the engineering field of Mechatronics. Students will learn how to program a robotic device to complete a number of challenges. Students who have participated in our program during the school year will continue with their STEP TWO learning plan. Students should bring nut-free snacks and water.
