Summer Camps 2024: Camp Five
Theme: Introduction to Coding a Drone Camp: - Coding in Scratch, Python, JavaScript using the Tello EDU drone
Description: In this introductory STEM camp, students will learn all about the exciting world behind programmable drones. The camp participants will learn how quadcopters fly and how to program their drones in a simulator. Once they have mastered the basic movement, campers will be introduced to the coding languages of JavaScript and Python. Campers will complete several tasks and challenges throughout the week. Students must bring a nut-free snack and water. Special Feature: All registered participants for this camp will receive one free youth and one free adult ticket to the 2024 Abbotsford International Airshow on Sunday, August 11th, 2024. In addition, all registered camp participants and one adult will receive an "exclusive behind-the-scenes experience" on Thursday, August 8th - exact details TBD.
Course Dates: Monday to Friday, July 29-Aug 2, 2024 at UFV's Aerospace Center at the Abbotsford Airport
Day and Time: 1pm to 4pm / Half-day camp

Cost: $240.00 +tax

Note: Participants need to bring peanut-free snacks/lunch suitable for a summer camp - a refillable water bottle is recommended.
