A. GearBots Sr. STEM Academy: ROCKET SCIENCE: KERBAL SPACE PROGRAM

Focus:  This option will allow students to take a deeper dive into the amazing potential of the Kerbal Space Program. Participants must have completed Level Two of our Kerbal Space Program camp.
- The course agenda will be set by the instructor and will cover various aspects related to aerospace design, rocket science, orbital mechanics, and mission planning.
- Extra cost: For this option, students will need to purchase software directly via the Kerbal Store

B. GearBots Sr. STEM Academy: AEROSPACE DESIGN

Focus: Building off the introduction to the 3D printer and laser cutter modules in the Jr. Makerspace program, this option will focus on aerospace design. This includes advancing CAD skills (using Fusion 360) and principles of production. This option will also integrate electronic hardware into the design process. This option is working on building an RC vehicle from scratch.

- The course agenda will be set by the instructor and will cover various aspects related to Aerospace Design.

Date / Time: Thursdays from 4:30pm-6:30pm

Course Length: 10 weeks

C. GearBots Sr. STEM Academy: AI/MACHINE LEARNING/DATA SCIENCE

Focus: IoT, Electronics, robotics, coding with a focus on JavaScript, Andriod App development, RC/Wifi and autonomous vehicles, machine learning, Phonegap Cordova, Particle.io, TensorFlowjs, mechanical CAD, modern manufacturing skills and techniques. This option is working on building and programming an autonomous RC Truck

- The course agenda will be set by the instructor and will cover various aspects related to Machine Learning and Data Science.

Focus:  Understanding all the various aspects of effective coding skills through an interactive Game Design environment (coding will be done in a C-based environment)
- The course agenda will be set by the instructor and will cover various aspects related to computational thinking and graphic design skills
- Extra cost: For this course, students will need to purchase their own account with YoYo Games
